How do you generate the ticket numbers?

Your sweepstakes ticket numbers are generated via an automated process upon completion of your order. Once your order has been processed, you will receive an email receipt containing a summary of your order and your sweepstakes tickets number(s).

What methods of payment do you accept?

We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. We do not accept cash, checks, money orders or PayPal at this time.


What if I did not receive an email with my numbers?

How do you select the winner?

Winning sweepstakes tickets are selected from the pool of purchased sweepstakes ticket numbers via an automated, randomizer selection process.


Do I have to be present at the contest drawing to win?

No. All contest winners will be notified via email and phone shortly after the drawing.


What should I do if I believe I have a winning sweepstakes ticket?

All sweepstakes winners will be notified via email shortly after the drawing. However, if you believe you have a winning ticket and we have not contacted you, please email us at questions@ascendfs.com


How will you notify the winner of the contest?

All sweepstakes winners will be notified by both phone and email shortly after the drawing. We will also post the winner of each sweepstakes on the "Winners" page shortly after the drawing.

RULES

  1. Tickets will not be sold outside of the province of Alberta or to anyone under the age of 18.
  2. Sellers will advise adult ticket buyers not to write the name of a person under 18 years of age on the ticket.
  3. Only tickets sold before the 50/50 Cash Lottery cutoff of 11:00pm March 8, 2020 will be entered for the draw.
  4. Draw date is set for 11:00 am Tuesday March 17, 2020 at 203, 4820 50 Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta. The draw is open to any member of the general public wishing to attend.
  5. There will be a minimum guaranteed prize payout of $80,000.00 or 50% of tickets sales in the 50/50 Cash Lottery raffle (whichever is greater).
  6. A minimum of tickets totaling for the value of $80,000 must be sold prior to a request for a draw date extension.
  7. Members of the Board of Directors, paid staff, committee members and the professional financial auditors of the Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre and their spouses or partners living with them, along with staff of Ascend Fundraising Solutions, are not permitted to purchase or accept tickets on the Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre 50/50 Cash Lottery Raffle.
  8. The winner will be notified in writing and/or by phone by the Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre and must be claimed by one year from the date of the prize draw. If the prize remains unclaimed after that date, a request can be made to the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission (AGLC) regarding a decision on the disbursement of the prize.
  9. The name, city and winning ticket number of the 50/50 Cash Lottery will be published on the Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre website: www.centralabcac.ca http://facebook.com/centralABCAC/; http:/twitter.com/centralABCAC/; http:/Instagram.com/centralABCAC/
  10. All sets of multiple tickets must contain the same information.
  11. Tickets may be purchased by Visa, MasterCard and Debit. The Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre's liability is limited to the purchase price of the ticket.
  12. Only upon demonstrating extraordinary circumstances to the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission will the Licensee make a request for a draw extension.
  13. All tickets will be controlled by the Licensee and are only available by phone, internet and in person at the Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre office. Ticket request forms will be collected daily, with tickets processed and emailed upon purchase through the online sale platform provided by Ascend Fundraising Solutions, and provided immediately for purchases in person.
  14. Total tickets available are 206,250 and the breakdown as follows: 1,250 for $10 each; 2,500 sets of 10 for $25; 4,400 sets of 25 for $50 and 1,400 sets 50 for $75.
  15. Ticket distribution and control for the 50/50 Cash Lottery Raffle will be under the management of the Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre located at 203, 4820 50 Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta T4N 4A4. All draw(s) will be managed by them as well.
  16. In the event the winning ticket stub has more than one name on it, the licensed charity shall award the prize to the first name of all individuals identified on the ticket. Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre and the AGLC are not responsible for any disputes which may arise between the different individuals whose names appear on the ticket stub.
  17. If any purchased ticket has been entered for any draw, there will be no refunds issued.
  18. The Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre respects your privacy. We do not, sell, rent or trade our mailing lists. The personal information that will be collected by the Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre will be used to process the ticket orders and to contact you regarding ongoing and future lotteries.
  19. Ticket purchases are not eligible for tax receipts.
  20. In the event that all tickets are sold by January 31, 2020, then the draw will be held on February 14, 2020 at the offices of the Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre, 203, 4820 50 Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta.
  21. In the event of a power outage - all information is cached on the system and would not be lost. Printing of the tickets for the draw barrel could potentially be delayed in the event of a prolonged outage.
